I spent here 3 nights and felt very welcomed. The bed was quite uncomfortable, nevertheless I loved the place. The ambience was QUIET. Without doubt the location was nice really close to the centre of Cardiff in less than 30 minutes, fields, and Barry or Porthcawl.

The setting was peaceful.

It had a marvellous and particularly good setting short walk to fields nearby. We got a multi-channel television, a dining area, and a sitting area.

It has absolutely perfect and beautiful setting in the middle of the city. The host, Rosie, makes you feel at home: )

Great value for money with complimentary tea, coffee, and snacks in our self-catering cottage at Duffryn Mawr Cottages. The location was perfect for exploring the area by walking, cycling, or driving, and we loved that our two Yorkshire terriers could stay with us. The hosts were friendly and provided helpful information about local facilities.

The morning meal could have been improved with a wider selection of breakfast options.

It is conveniently located for exploring Barry and Porthcawl. the cottage itself is cozy and comfortable, with a soft and comfortable bed, a modern bathroom with a powerful shower, and a well-equipped kitchen where you can prepare meals. the tranquil and peaceful atmosphere of the surroundings adds to the overall experience.

Limited comfortable seating, but this is understandable considering the size of the cottage.

We had a comfortable stay near Cardiff, just a short drive from Barry and Porthcawl. It was nice to be centrally located.

The value for money at this place was fantastic, with a cozy and comfortable room that had all the necessary amenities. The location was peaceful and tranquil, perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and provided great information about the area.

The food for breakfast could have been better, but overall it was a minor issue compared to the wonderful experience at this cottage.

Misunderstood that the extra bedroom for a child was actually bunk beds in a separate unit away from the main door. Difficult to safely walk the dog in the immediate location due to narrow roads.

The apartment had excellent facilities for self catering, a newly renovated bathroom with plenty of hot water, and a comfy bedroom with ample storage space. the location was peaceful and quiet, with very little road noise. the hosts were quick to respond to any requests and friendly.

Felt right at home, nothing too much trouble.
